Tiago Soares Bortolini

Researcher Bio

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil (2009) and a Master's degree in Psychobiology – Human Behavior -from Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil (2012). My main research topic encompass behavioural and neuroscientific aspects of human social behaviour (more specifically prosocial behaviour and inter-group process).

I am currently a PhD student at the Morphological Science Program at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in partnership with the D’Or Institute for Research and Education. My thesis focus on the neural basis of group belongingness and in-group favouritism.
